I was lucky enough to find a used copy (who would get rid of it???) of 'Portable EFO Show' at my local store and fell in love. I am now wearing out 'Looking Out the Fishbowl'. I am very excited to see that EFO will be appearing at my local venue (the Ark in Ann Arbor MI) in September, so I don't have to wait too long for a 'live' fix. I would appreciate any suggestions as to which CD I should get next. Also, interestingly enough, my 4 year old son has taken quite a liking to 'Stupid American' and insists that we play it at least 3 times before moving on to the rest of the CD, and goes around singing it all the time. I think it's just because it has the word 'stupid' in it, but they're never too young to get them started on the right kinds of music! Looking forward to lots of EFO discussion, Suzie Tee ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 May 2000 11:40:18 -0400 From: Don Semmens Subject: Re: New Fan Checking In At 10:21 AM 5/27/2000 -0400, ImSerius2@aol.com wrote: >I would appreciate any suggestions as to which CD I should get next. I would suggest "A Juggler On His Blades," their first cd. This was the 2nd cd I bought (after "Portable") and is an incredible debut album (imo). Some of my favorite efo songs are on this cd including "Payday in the Village," "Revolution," and "Very Fine Funeral." don (EFO in Richmond - 13 days) "Raising the money in this e-biz age is as easy as getting laid in 1969." - -- Kurt Andersen, co-founder of inside.com Don Semmens; Richmond VA; donsem@concentric.net NO SHELL ACCESS SUCKS!!! We have 4 kids who are all very into EFO also. We all have our different favorites. Our absolute favorite songs of all of theirs are "Gravity," "One", "Farmer Brown," "This My Town," "Old Dominion, "Margot Fonteyn," "I don't Think I know Me," "Hojo's On Waukegan," "In Paradise," "Woman Of Faith", "Falling Rock" , and "Our Fair City". At our last EFO show, we finally completed our collection. Here are our favorites in order of preference, though I must add, they are ALL good! 1. Big Noise 2. Looking Out The Fishbowl 3. Portable EFO 4. Actually Not 5. I Rose Fido Home 6. Juggler On his Blades Of course all of their solo CDs are great too. And depending on our moods in this house they change in order of preference!!! Well, now I need to go load these in the CD Player. I am in an EFO mood now! Thanks!! Have fun choosing! ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V3 #51 ****************************
