[Berkeley Bush Subject: Edheads: CD Burning - A Plea for Help. I am finally trying to burn some CDs from Boardtapes of shows. My VCR is hooked into the soundcard through the Mic inlet, but the input is too high for it. The volume is not the problem, but the input level (at least, that is what it sounds like to me). If anyone can help, please send some advice! Until I can burn these CDs, I'll be the only one with these shows. Tell me you can help & I'll try to be as specific as possible about the problem. Hi Berkeley: You should have "line-in" jack on your sound card. That's the one you want to use. It will look just like the mic jack, so if you have one, it'll be simple to switch over. If you don't have one, then you can either buy a new sound card, or place a 10,000 ohm resistor in line with the mic input. That should attenuate the signal enough. Good luck! I'm looking forward to hearing your shows!! - ---Jeff--- Berkeley Bush wrote: > I am finally trying to burn some CDs from Boardtapes of shows.
