Anybody know if the Birchmere allows boardtaping? Btw, how many people are planning on hitting both shows? I figure if there are enough people going to both shows then maybe we can convince the band to have completely different setlists...(hint hint :) ) On a personal note: I am sooooo sad. This will be my last EFO show before I graduate from Virginia Tech and head out west. Anybody know if they play anywhere near L.A.?? California here I come! (and actually it _is_ right back where I started from.) :) Seth - ----------------------- Seth Hornstein The Tactical Officer of "The Battleship - U.S.S. I seriously doubt that you'll get to boardtape at the Birchmere. They are really strict about almost everything, from what I can tell. They don't allow cameras either. I'm not a boardtaper, but I think I recall that people were complaining before that they couldn't tape shows at the birchmere. It's really too bad too, because I saw Dar there last month and really wanted to take a picture or two (even without a flash would've been better than nothing!). - -rhiannon At 01:09 AM 4/6/00 -0400, you wrote: >Anybody know if the Birchmere allows boardtaping? >Btw, how many people are planning on hitting both shows? Since I'm not in the VA area, I'm not going to look into it, but I wonder what their thoughts on audience taping is. If they aren't for that, you can always do the old stealth with mics in the hat. Done it for some shows and came out nice (Neumann 140s if you were wondering). Well, I'll just sit here and wait for some northeast EFO dates. (Might go tape Robbie at Passim though.) Yup, another update!!! There is a new clip of Katryna and Nerissa Nields, EFO, and Vanida Gail!! Also, every week or so, we will be changing the clips of these bands so please keep checking back with us. We will also be adding new artists and personalities to our sessions too! This month we are looking to do interviews with both Guinevere Turner (American Psycho, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Go Fish) and Richard Shindell (keep your fingers crossed)!!!! We are still developing our "post it" section where people can sound off. So please look for it!!! Our goal is to promote free thought and speech! If there is anyone you would like to see, please don't hesitate to e-mail us! Once again, we thank you for your patience and interest in our site! We know the downloading of the clips take a little bit of time, but it is certainly worth it! Finally, if you like what you see, please tell friends about us. We really want to keep doing what we are doing!
