I was able to slip down from Philly to DC to catch Robbie at IOTA, and the show was great. Robbie was charming as always and it was a total treat to hear stuff from his solo CD. He also threw in a couple covers of people who have influenced him. All in all, a great night a music and well worth the drive. Anyway, I'm just thrilled that he'll be in Philly this week at the Point and hopefully some of you will be there, too. The Point, btw, is a great room. They have amazing food and a BYOB policy. And I'm equally thrilled that my buddy Butch Ross is opening the show. Be sure to get there early (show starts at 8pm) and check him out :) Mary, who has a broken hand and just took 20 mins to peck this out one-handed Angelfire for your free web-based e-mail. http://www.angelfire.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2000 13:21:58 -0800 From: "Mary Krause" Subject: RE: solo shows hmmm...weird, it's listed as 8pm by EFOhio.Com and the promoter.
