B) Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys followed our beloved EFO at BayFest in Mobile last October (EFO's Mobile debut, I might add). The follow-up act is a good Cajun Zydeco band. I believe they are truly from Acadia (the region of Louisiana from which Cajuns hail). Mamou is an Acadien French word. Folks, if you are going to Falcon Ridge, check them out. They took on the tough task of following EFO & shined in the process. If you go to Falcon Ridge don't miss them! I'm sure they'll be playing the dance tent, so bring your dancing shoes and rest your feet! They play quite a bit with Balfa Toujours, if anyone caught them at last years FRFF. Mamou is a little town in Southwest Louisiana, not too far from Lafayette., just north of Eunice. Enjoy!
