EFO at Alley Katz [Don Semmens Subject: [edheads] MEE-WOW!!! EFO at Alley Katz Why am I up so damn early after getting home at 2am from seeing EFO? Well, besides the fact I have to sing in church at 9am, my little kitten decided to wake me up at 6:45am for affection. No, I didn't buy this kitty-cat, but I am thinking about buying a dog. :-) EFO returned to Alley Katz in Richmond, VA last night to a large and enthusiastic crowd. Let's hope they put this venue back on their regular schedule. This show was very different from the one at Trax I saw less than 4 weeks ago. There were a lot of old songs played including "Payday in the Village" (a personal favorite), "Very Fine Funeral" and "Mr. Snow" (which I don't think I've heard live before). The 2 highlights for me (besides Payday) were "Great Day" and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" (the encore) which I just happened to yell out before they played it (the calls to my psychic friend finally pays off). Eddie "The Turk" played an outstanding solo as usual. Chalk up another great show don (proud to be living in Richmond again) Said one cloud to the next, "How nice that we can rain. On the ground it seems they let water wash away their pain." -- "The Cloud Song", Jess Klein Don Semmens; Richmond VA; donsem@concentric.net NO SHELL ACCESS SUCKS!!!
