If any edheads in the Greenville, SC area can make it to the Handlebar tomorrow night, I highly recommend it. My friend, Billy McLaughlin is giving a concert there. You will be amazed at his finger-style guitar playing! It is a little like what Eddie does on Robbie's guitar during his Bridge solo. If you go, stay after & meet Billy. Like EFO, he is an approachable guy who works as an independent. Tell him I sent you & see the reaction! :-) Relax, guys, EFO is still my favorite Band (but don't tell Billy that). Plus, I am still doing my part to break them into the L.A. market. If you read this far, please don't flame me, just delete this post. This is the only one I'll do. Plus, you were warned. Billy McLaughlin @ The Handlebar. THU May 6 (my niece's 4th birthday). $10. 8:30PM. The heck? Is this new? The only thing I've ever seen Eddie do during his solo is pound them drums... I didn't even know he played guitar. > Relax, guys, EFO is still my favorite Band (but don't tell Billy that). > Plus, I am still doing my part to break them into the L.A. market. Can I chime in here and say that, IMHO, discussion of other bands is a Good Thing(tm)? I've found many of my current music faves (most notably EFO) through discussions on alt.music.moxy-fruvous. Music recommendations from people with similar tastes in music tend to work out VERY well. No one here is testing anyone else's Edheadedness; that's not the point of a list like this. At least, it SHOULDN'T be... - --nicole the wonder nerd *** "Say you decide to call it quits after the first exam.
