I, too, would love to get a CD, video, reel-to-reel, 8-track, vinyl or whatever of the last BHG show, and I am more than willing to be a branch instead of a leaf, but I have no idea how to copy TO CD. I would obviously like the highest quality recording that I can utilize (CD in my case), but I only know how to listen to CD's, not make them. Can any of y'all clue me in? Clay Chilcoat President (unoficial) EFO Fan Club - Indiana Chapter (also unoficial) P.S. - there is someone out there in cyberland refering to themselves as THE Mississippi efo fan. I actually know of another... her name is Jen. I don't think she's on this list, though.... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 05 Jan 1999 13:33:40 -0500 From: Susan Githens Subject: Edheads on the road Sharing a fun fan encounter. I was traveling to South Carolina last week for New Year's. As I was sitting in traffic on I-85 I noticed an EFO sticker on the back of a minivan. I was delighted to be briefly relieved on my boredom thinking about how great the band is and how wonderful it is for them that they're playing regularly around the country. I soon realized that I had the Portable EFO CD case within reach. I held it up to the window as I passed the EFO minivan fans and smiled. The driver's face lit up. He scrambled between his seats for a moment and then retrieved his copy of the very same CD...with personal signatures from Julie, Mike, Eddie and Robbie. We rolled down our windows and exchanged greetings. He had seen the band at The Handlebar on one of the nights they recorded Portable EFO. I had to admit I was not fortunate enough to get a ticket to either of the Wolftrap shows in Virginia. It was a brief encounter, but it left us both (and our passengers) smiling for the next twenty miles! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 5 Jan 1999 23:59:24 -0500 (EST) From: Kevin S Mielwocki Subject: tabs & mp3's Hi all, forgive me first off if this has been asked before (i'm sure if has been =^) ) i've been listening to efo for a while, but just signed onto the list....but was wondering, does anyone have any tabs of efo songs or know of someplace I can get them? Mp3's of the last Bad Habits show from 12/15 can be found at www.edhead.org and I believe there are some others on that site as well. Welcome to the list! Take care, Annie ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V2 #4 ***************************
