Unfortunately, the seed that I had lined up fell through, so I'm left without a seed. As soon as I get one, I'll start up a tree, so that we all can enjoy the show in perpetuity. So, here's my urgent appeal: If anyone recorded the show in digital or VHS HIFI, Please contact me! Heck, if you recorded on cassette, please let me know, as I'll fall back to that if digital or VHS fall through. Everyone else, as soon as I find a seed, I'll post details about the tree. However, my Canadian heritage makes me a little biased. You see, I was with them from the start. Yes, before Bargainville. I was introduced to Moxy when they were humble buskers on the streets of Toronto. It was possibly in 1992, they were on the corner of Yonge (pronounced Young) and Dundas...the heart of downtown Toronto, standing outside the Eaton Centre (not center, just like program is spelt programme in Canada) and playing a little song now known as King Of Spain. There was a crowd of 40-odd people gathered around them, dancing around in the chilly winter wind. I bought a $5 tape of their indie release, which had really raw versions of King Of Spain, BJ Don't Cry, The Drinking Song, My Baby Loves A Bunch Of Authors, and, of course, the infamous Green Eggs and Ham. That tape is as great then as it is now (but now its worth slightly more money...if only I could find it). I can only imagine that EFO puts that kind of energy and passion into their shows. I'm sure they do...if only I could see a video (HINT HINT...Anyone?). What are the consensus' of musical tastes on this list? I can imagine alot of EFO/Moxy-esque bands, (ie TMBG, Ben Folds Five), but I'm just curious. And if anyone minds that I posted without "Edtent", let me know, and I'll cease and desist. Robbie C. Matthew Barry" Subject: Baltimore Show - 12-19 I was wondering if anyone on this list is headed to the Fletcher's show in Baltimore on Saturday nite, and secondly if they're taping it. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss them and the Fletcher's shows are always a blast. Now, I don't have any EFO to trade, but would be most grateful if I could do a b&p, or if anyone would like to trade for some Dead.... Happy Holidays everyone! They are a band I have wanted to see , and possibly book here in Northern Michigan (we have had EFO here twice in the last two years). Since others have thrown out other bands that we like, I would like to know if anyone else had heard a band called Donna the Buffalo. They are from upstate New York, and have cajun/zydeco/folk/country kind of sound (their website is http://www.donnathebuffalo.com/) We had them here in Nov. and had an absolute blast. Biggest crowd we have ever had. (I told Michael they have a new record to try and break next year). Anyway, I just thought I wound see if any other Edheads new about this band. If you see their name in your neighborhood check them out. You will not be disappointed. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Paul (Ned) Brown - -----Original Message----- From: Robbie C.
