Oh dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made it out of clay, And when it's dry and ready oh dreidel I should play! Oh dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made it out of clay, And when it's dry and ready oh dreidel I should play! Tonite was my 3rd time seeing the band and it was, I believe, the best yet. God willing I'll make it to BH on Tuesday, too. Keep your fingers crossed! It is indeed a blessing that the four of them found each other to give us, what I consider, some of the best music and fun that I can ever remember. My condolences to Eddie on the loss of a family member. Best of luck to the group. I hope to see them again soon. Eddie was unable to attend because of a death in the family, but the three clean-shaven ones went on without him. It was truly a strange sight. Julie was working overtime on that white tambourine. I swear half the audience was drumming along on their tables or legs to the beat they could only hear in their heads. The set list of course was vastly altered. No "Fuse", "Rider" or "Bridge". But they reworked a few other numbers and added some covers (they offered to do some Buffet, but the crowd booed lustily) and made it through the night. They even pulled out "Schoolhouse Rock" for the encore. It was an interesting show, pretty unusual and not the most polished, but definately fun. I think it is safe to say though that Eddie has established his job security! Mike keeps a sort of "diary" of all of the shows with a setlist and anything else he feels like including about the show. I do have access to it when I am riding in Harvey the RV with the band. He has said that I could peek into it for setlists when I get requests for them. I don't think I will have the time to put all of the setlists into a computer file, but I'll be happy to type them out and save them as I get requests. I'm not sure exactly how far Chunky goes back, but I think it's at least a year. So send your requests to me and I'll do what I can. CB PS: Don't forget to type EFO: at the beginning of the subject line for all edhead posts so that those who get tons of email can sort their email more easily. Thanks! ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Dec 1998 11:46:53 EST From: EFOcrew@aol.com Subject: EFO: setlist archive Oops! I just realized that I was responding to a request for a setlist archive for the Pat McGee Band. I'll have to get on their tush's about typing PMB at the beginning of their subject lines so as not to confuse poor old me. The offer still stands, though, about getting setlists. CB ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Dec 1998 12:09:42 EST From: EFOcrew@aol.com Subject: EFO: Actually not is green & grey! Well it seems that the audience is pretty evenly divided on the grey/green issue. The vote on Tuesday was close, but I think the band may have squeaked by on that one. They also had a vote at the Birchmere, which was also pretty evenly divided. Most of the folks who emailed said it was green, but there were only a few folks who emailed their resposes. So the verdict is out! We are ALL right! Actually Not is both grey AND green. I'm happy with this verdict because if I had won, the band may have had to fire me. If they had won, I may have had to quit. You know how hard it is to travel with folks who don't share your views on color! {JK : ) } It would take a lot more than that to get me to quit working for EFO, and I'm sure the band wouldn't fire me for such a small crime as not agreeing with them. Shoot, they'd have fired me long ago if that were the case, being the Devil's Advocate that I am. Anyway, I'm sure they will still call it the "Green" album, so don't get confused. Have a nice Holiday Season, everyone! CB ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V1 #114 *****************************
