Eddie was unable to attend because of a death in the family, but the three clean-shaven ones went on without him. It was truly a strange sight. Julie was working overtime on that white tambourine. I swear half the audience was drumming along on their tables or legs to the beat they could only hear in their heads. The set list of course was vastly altered. No "Fuse", "Rider" or "Bridge". But they reworked a few other numbers and added some covers (they offered to do some Buffet, but the crowd booed lustily) and made it through the night. They even pulled out "Schoolhouse Rock" for the encore. It was an interesting show, pretty unusual and not the most polished, but definately fun. I think it is safe to say though that Eddie has established his job security! Chuck ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V1 #113 *****************************
