I'm finally done dubbing! Yay! This is your last chance to get a copy of this show. Once I give Bob his tapedeck back, I will dub no more. Some of you have been more than generous with your tips. It will make it easier to give the band their share. I should be able to at least take them out to eat at a nice restaurant on the road (because I know they will refuse to take the money - how do we account for the income, it's not worth the paperwork, etc.). I will slip it into their belongings if they won't let me do that! (Hear me EFO - I know you read this list, YOU WILL EAT FINE FOOD, COURTESY OF THE EDHEADS WHO HAVE GIVEN SO GENEROUSLY, OR ELSE!!) Thanks, again. I'm so glad that EFO has such nice fans. You are all wonderful. There are a few people from whom I haven't received payment. Those of you who are sending me shows, take your time, I know that dubbing tapes can be a hassle. I will email you each separately if I haven't already. Here is a list of those I'm still waiting for a payment from: (I know you're not slackers, and I'm sure I'll get some in the mail today and tomorrow, so if you've sent payment and you're on the list, don't worry, unless you sent it out over a week ago.) Anyway, this is just a reminder. I won't start flaming the slackers for a couple of weeks. : ) (Just Kidding, sheesh!) Thanks for spreading the music, and make sure all of your co-workers come to a show with you at some point so they too, can become mindless Edheads, screaming, "I want my EFO!" Please let me know if any of you have found a problem with either or both of your tapes. I just can't believe that I haven't screwed one up yet! Maybe I AM that good. Nah! OK, I'll quit rambling, now. Here's the list: CB PS: If you have sent payment and I have emailed a response thanking you, please let me know so I can take you off the list. I have kept all of the envelopes for mail in payments, but I can be a little slack at times myself! The show was opened by Michael Lille (from Nasheville). Michael is a great singer/songwriter/guitarist who appears on EFO albums from time to time. I'd not seen him before. He did a fantastic set, and had EFO join him in two numbers. A couple of the numbers he did, reminded me intensely of another favorite of mine: David Wilcox... but Michael has a style all his own, and I like it! EFO took the stage shortly thereafter, and, of course, put on a wonderful performance. At one point, Robbie took my video camera and walked around the audience, taping with it. :^) Including Michael's performance, the show lasted about 2.5 hours, and was the best I have seen to date (I am a relative newbie, though, only having seen 4 shows so far). For me, the highlight was when Julie did a soul-wrenching, almost torturous version of "Love Me Like a Man" (with Michael Lille and EFO backing her). I think even the other band members were impressed. So as not to take away from the others, though, I have to say that *all* of the band was tight, with their loveable attitudes and fantastic musical talents (but not nearly as cute - to me - as Julie). But then, who is? :^) I haven't worked out a setlist yet, and don't know if setlists are typically published to the list, so I'll just leave it at that (at least for now). As a hobby, I like to publish webpages for favorite artists. If you're a folkie besides being an EdHead, then please come and visit. Pretty soon, I hope to have a page or two for EFO (including a RealVideo of the end of "Love Me Like a Man"... but I had to rush out after the show, and haven't spoken to them about it yet. I won't do it without permission. Thanks for the ear.
