Note that the latter is NOT the song we want to be promoting. When you vote, be sure to scroll to the end of the page, select "The Old Dominion" and make sure the credit is "by Eddie From Ohio." viva Eddie, - --M. P.S. I wore my "Folkin' Excellent" shirt to the first day of this year's Falcon Ridge Folk Festival; it got noticed by some 10 people, with responses ranging from "Cool!" to "Did you get that shirt here?" to "Ohmigod, are they playing here?" (they weren't) Hope the crowd response can draw Eddie to FRFF next summer! For anyone planning to go to the Ben Lomond show on the 19th, who hasn't actually been to Ben Lomond before... on the map, it looks like it's not far from Santa Cruz or Silicon valley. But I just drove that road the other day, highway 9. It's a very windy one lane road with lots of slopes. Plan on taking more time than you'd think to get to the show, especially if there's a lot of traffic. Even with no traffic, there are sections of that road under construction, and other parts you wouldn't want to do over 25mph on. It is really pretty, though. -- Cos (Ofer Inbar) -- cos@leftbank.com cos@cs.brandeis.edu -- WBRS (100.1 FM) -- WBRS@brandeis.edu http://www.wbrs.org/ "You are a highway with no exits, they say she drove you to extremes She couldn't stand the endless freeway, free is never what it seems" -- Jennifer Kimball, "A Long Way Home" ------------------------------ End of edheads-digest V1 #34 ****************************
