I bet you "I Love You, California" doesn't beat "The Pennsylvania Polka!" :) Actually I like the song since it gave way to "The Steeler Polka," 70s theme song of my beloved Black 'n Gold. Anyway, I did the RT link to work, although their copy of "The Old Dominion" sounds very crappy. Does anyone else happen to have a digital copy on their PC they might send me on post on the Web? I know I was touched when I heard the band play 'The Old Dominion' here in CT (at a zoo no less- their 1st zoo show), and I am planning on sending a message to vote for the song. And I have a question for all you edheads... my first live show was at Eddies Attic the summer of the Olympics, and I would love to find a boardtaping. While I cannot offer any boardtapes (sorry, I have nothing to tape them on), I am an avid folk music listener... and have lots of good stuff to trade!!!!! So if anyone was at that show, please let me know. Thanks so much!! Samantha ps The 1st two songs on 'Big Noise' ( + the Train Song), and quite a few off the 'Portable EFO Show' make great workout songs. :) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 12:46:56 EDT From: SKoss18@aol.com Subject: edheads: direct link to state song vote Click here: quickpoll.taf?_function=voteTally at rtonline... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 12:59:33 -0400 From: "Hovis, Lonnie" Subject: RE: edheads: direct link to state song vote Just one more reason to hate AOL, .......... try this URL if you have a real ISP: http://www.roanoke.com/roatimes/statesong/index.html EFO is in 5th place way back from the leader........ vote early and often. > -----Original Message----- > From: SKoss18@aol.com [SMTP:SKoss18@aol.com] > Sent: Tuesday, August 04, 1998 12:47 PM > To: edheads@efohio.com > Subject: edheads: direct link to state song vote > > > HREF="http://rtonline1.roanoke.com/scripts/t3cgi.exe/quickpoll/quickpo > ll.ta > f?_function=voteTally">Click here: quickpoll.taf?_function=voteTally > at > rtonline... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 19:28:12 -0400 (EDT) From: Donsem@concentric.net Subject: Re: More on the state song... > http://www.vipnet.org/song/song.html Hey, one of the sub-committee members, Ms. Mary Dalton Baril, is an attorney at the law firm I work for (I'm not attorney I just play with their computers). Your e-mail program should be able to filter your messages into a "EFO Mailbox" so-to-speak, automatically. That way you won't even have to look at messages for an "Edhead" cue. If anybody needs help with this, write me off-list and I'll help you out. Brendan ============================================================= Brendan P.
