I don't think it's uncommon I must have misstated my point. :) My problem was that I was hearing a *fifth* voice, in unison with the other two male voices doing the "She on the left..." part. I know that Eddie sings along; I just wonder why he doesn't do it more often. :) - --nicole twn ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 06 Jul 1998 20:50:44 -0400 From: "Nate \"Yip!\" Perkins" Subject: Re: more At 10:40 PM 7/3/98 +0100, you wrote: >Hi, all. I think it's something about the informal setup that makes it so appealing. Down in Blacksburg, everyone loses themselves in the music, and it's amazing how despite the crowd and noise, I still feel closer to the band than in other venues. Mind you, I don't miss the cigarette smoke and losing my hearing for the next three days.:) I'd be surprised if they didn't return from time to time, though. But, hopefully without any obligations in the area, they can go spread the word of Eddie around to the far corners of the nation. Or something. >As for my EFO story, I actually wrote one. I'd love to know a bit more about the band. AFAIK, Julie Murphy was the only member who sang with Pat McGee on their album, though this is just something one of my friends told me. At the show, I dunno offhand, since I left early. It wouldn't surprise me if they did something together at the end. The show was really good, overall. They seemed a bit nervous at the start, but after a few songs really got going. The crowd was fairly large, although a bit noisy.:P (Fortunately, the music drowned out the talking for the most part...) Well worth the money, overall.
