floating in front of my face

I thought I knew what I wanted to be
but sometimes things change
without any prior notice 
I fell into you

. . . thinking of what I wanted to know
about myself in order to answer
the question of life
with all the bells ringing in my head
they wanted an answer
right now
there was no time to waste
because I already lost so many
seconds
when I was in a daze

you wouldn't talk to me but worse
you weren't around to talk to
so I turned to what I know 
the silence
I cried on my knees
I watched myself and tried to realize
what I needed

Life was soft at one point
although I was always aware of what was going on
childhood never made me feel
like a child

I'm dancing to the song that makes me feel free
