WHY? ~I understand you as an individual valuing your own species over another, but ~unbiasedly, why is human life more valuable than animal life? I'm going to agree with Summer here. How many times have you experienced this so called 'animal life?' I'm going to assume that you're not crazy, and your answer is NONE. You take for granted this 'animal life.' Without that life, your life would not be possible. So when you become an animal and can give me some credible evidence to support your little statement, then you can make assumptions like that. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Apr 2000 20:23:31 -0700 (PDT) From: Katherine Alexandra Subject: ET: crossing the line OK, someone crossed the line of this list and now i am really pissed. nothing bothered me until this. yes, i have a problem with overpopulation. the reason why i have this problem is because of poverty as well. i feel that birth control should be more widely used. someone on this list (alright good ol' redwoodenbeads) got a little upset with my comments (that is perfectly understandable) but in passion of anger (i assume) decided to tell me after i said WE REALLY DONT NEED THIS MANY PEOPLE told me that i should be the first and kill myself. alright that is fucking wrong. i dont care how strongly you feel about something that i fucking crossing the line. i have heard a lot of shit and this is probably one of the worse things i have ever heard. i didnt want any of this to become personal, but i couldnt sit back and silantly allow someone to say such nasty comments. i'm sorry, but it hurt. perhaps we all can act a little bit more grown up. your reaction was completely pathetic and OF COURSE it has gotten me angry, hurt, upset. thank you, you achieved at what you were aiming for. i'm sorry for using such colorful language but i am just really pissed off by that comment right now. kat __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Some people believe it was an early form of AIDS. ~Gays didn't create it. God created it to punish them for being gay. *why only gay men? Okay, suppose this actually did happen. Suppose God found this sinful town just full of men fucking men and women fucking women......and he sent this early form of AIDS down to kill off these horrible sex-driven people. Now, suppose how illogical that sounds. If God dislikes a group of people, and destroys an entire village because of it, then why is he not doing it now? Sure, there are gay people who have AIDS, there are straight people who have had sex with gay people and they contract AIDS. There are also people who get the disease from someone that did not get it from someone who was gay! There are even people who have never had sex in their lives who have AIDS. So, God is like overbooked and his secretary is on vacation? Is that it? Too many gays, so little time? Hell, BABIES are born with AIDS probably every day. So God is punishing their parents through their children? I'm sorry, I have a very hard time believing that a God who is supposed to be so forgiving and loving would cause an innocent child to suffer and die from something only to teach their parents a lesson. Even if God created the disease way back when as a warning to future generations not to be gay or bisexual, then what? People who are not gay are now being punished because they didn't put an end to it? Pah-fucking-lease. ------------------------------ End of eda-thoughts-digest V3 #146 **********************************
