Today's Subjects: ----------------- ET: poems [Naomi Vaughn ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 19 Jul 99 09:24:32 CDT From: Naomi Vaughn Subject: ET: poems here's some. kinda strange like.. love, naomi - -- homecoming yellow & white daisies, pink & pink carnations, purple from another planet -- melon orange & green, & grapes, likewise varied... pineapples sour, & oranges too -- a card : an attempt at ammends, but the apology stings... wounds still raw & red -- you cluck about when these objects do nothing to shake the solemity from my face... but flowers die, fruit sours... & cards, when full of unwanted words, are found, come monday morn, among dead daisies, & sour grapes. - -- if blue was black & night turned bright stealing your cloak, exposing your skin -- if you stood there gasping at the brightness of this foreign shade, blue... in this shocked state, would you continue in your midnight evils? or, at the lack of darkness... artificial or otherwise... would you seek me out then? ink for your soul, robes & scarves to lock out all that beyond your strength to comprehend. - -- dusted glitter green eyes curious & wide peer up at the glowing crescent absorbing it's magestic power tiny paper wings tug softly against night's summer breeze... shimmering & shining in the moonlight. the fairie smiles slow & closes her eyes bowing her head. she draws her body up to the sky & laughs at she rises pulled forth by the moon leaving only a trail of sprinkles glitter green. - -- tormenting thoughts though not easily released, left unspoken only fester & grow. ------------------------------ End of eda-thoughts-digest V2 #210 **********************************
