I second that emotion. :) I've been putting in way-too-ridiculous hours at work the past few weeks/months... no more roll-in-at-9-punch-out-at-5 for me... it's become "roll in at 8 a.m., leave at 10 or 11 p.m., drag self home, sleep." Lather, rinse, repeat. :) I'm skimming posts, reading when I can, but adding my own comments very infrequently. >I'm looking for tabs for some of my favorite 80's Power Ballads, so KEV!! SETH!! I only remember the Warrant-esque power ballads. I've tried unsuccessfully to block those out, as well. :) I'd have to go look at the old tape collection to see what sort of killer power ballads were put out in the mid-to-late 80's... (the heyday of screeching men with big hair, after all... :) Kevin - ---------- Kevin Pease kbpease@boston.crosswinds.net ICQ UIN: 3106063 AOL IM: kbpease http://www.crosswinds.net/boston/~kbpease/ "I know it's been quite a long time since I / Sang a hymn without guilt in my eyes / But I believe he truly wouldn't care 'cause if you / Really tried he'd save a place for you there..." ---(Sarah Slean, "John XXIII")--- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1999 14:22:33 -0500 From: "Seth D. Umm...well, as for 80s music...I didn't really like music until I started college and the advent of MTV into my life...but recently I've been into Madonna and Aerosmith. What do you want me to say?! Umm..I got my braces off this morning (does leap of joy so high, cosmonauts in orbit around Jupiter are thinkin I'm a lunatic..if they don't know it already)...Now, my teeth look all funky..I have buckteeth and fangs..So, I'm a nerd vampire!!! I went home this past weekend..and I was watching all these cheezy sitcoms like "Family Matters" and "Fresh Prince" and I found myself redesigning my social attitudes based on that...Then I'm thinking "WHAT AM I DOING? This will NEVER work!?" So, I guess if I learned 1 thing this weeekend...don't base my decision to ask a girl out or not..and how to act, on how Steve Erkle acts and how Will Smith acts...Not that I did this in the past..It was a small experiment because I'm OBVIOUSLY doing something wrong that girls don't notice me. There's this girl/female brother at West Chester U. of PA Leigh who I sorta like..but she's WAY more fun to play with! We just mess around..I feel like a kid when with her, because I'm not interested in dating..just talking and having fun! Anyhow, I saw her at a fraternity conference this Saturday and when I got home, I was thinking about asking her out...and then I realized how that would screw everything up! I wouldn't have someone to play with then!! I dunno...I'm sure things will work out...Anyhow, I'm done rambling.
