Dance Marathon for my university (Mississippi State) is coming up quickly and I have been unable to collect any donations thus far. Dance Marathon is a 24-hour event where students and faculty remain on their feet and moving for the entire time. No sleeping, no sitting, no kidding! The Dance Marathon takes place on the MSU campus beginning at 10 am February 27th and continues until 10 am February 28th. All net proceeds benefit LeBonheur Children's Medical Center located in Memphis, Tennessee through the Children's Miracle Network (CMN). Funds are used to purchase state of the art medical equipment, to sponsor pediatric research, patient education programs and to purchase diversionary items such as computers and games. The goal of CMN is to improve the quality of life for hospitalized children. Miracles do happen for thousands of children treated at LeBonheur each year.
