Try living in Gardner (or as others would call it, >"Gaaadnaaa Hey") It's more boring tham you could ever imagine, all there >is to do is play pool or go to the movies! Have you ever heard of >Gardner? It's about 20 miles from Worcester. Just thought I'd tell ya how >lucky you are, even if you don't realize it. :o) Hey, I know where Gardner is... been through there a few times. Don't you guys have the big chair, though? Or is that another town up there? Anyway, whatever town has the big chair... CANNOT be more boring the Worcester, by virtue of the fact that they DO have the big chair. Worcester's got no big chair. I realize it could be worse... but in the grand scheme of things, Worcester isn't all that exciting a place to be. :) For those of you who are thinking, "Gee, Kevin must've hit the crack stash," no I'm not on drugs. One of the towns up in north-central Massachusetts has this freakishly huge chair sitting out along the road somewhere, as a monument or some sort of thing (maybe a monument to the great Wicker Chair Rebellion of 1765? Who knows... :). I've seen it several times, and I wasn't under the influence of *anything* when I saw it. It exists, and I *think* it was in Gardner... but I could be wrong. Love Sam the ? angel sm Sept 23 1998 my life changed forever here i gained so many who are so dear the lights the night the smiles no sleep so much can happen in just one week the tummy rubbers went nuts pretty soon we fell asleep under the stars and the moon the couches were worn and slept on a lot the nights were cold and mid day was so hot Corale shaved her head and left just her bangs relationships broke and died with a pang the romances turned their wings and flew and from the ashes sprung closer friendships anew the problems were sorted and worked away the melancholy mood indeed turned to day as Carsie sweetened the room with her voice and Lindsey deepened the air with her choice Gabe and Reanna stayed close the whole time Amy made songs and all of them rhymed the meadow was sunlit and the river cold New ties were made and strengthened the old As drag queen divas made their rounds the air was filled with whoops of sound Cory and Jake competed in skirts The fear of depth became superficial flirts I miss the wet porch in the dark in the rain I miss the ecstasy, I even miss the pain I miss Nate's pictures of only the girls I miss seeing you guys light up my world Nicole brought us rolls at two am for a treat the sour yogurt was by far the most nasty the beautiful combination of everyone's smiles said these bonds would last longer than just awhile I miss the boingey boingey everywhere I miss the dish queen I miss all of you who care I miss the embraces and the hugs I miss everyone, I miss those I love the essential oils as a result of lice reminded that camp wasn't everything nice and Maya's neon orange hair was braided and saved as they used pocket knives and her head was shaved Jake's long locks soon were gone too we all had the NBTSC blues the popcorn and the guitars and singing added to sleep-deprived campers and friendship rings Caleb, Damian, so many, and yes me too We danced away it was lovely to do Grace bellydanced and missed Taber He didn't want to but he had to leave her long hours were spent talking into the night we are who we are and that is all right still there for each other, bonded so tight it brought new meanings to love and starlight the drums pounded to the beat of the steps and we swing-danced when the ground was too wet we limboed far low and said ooh and aww we giggled, we cried the most I ever saw The Happy Camper gave out balloons we made collages and learned some new tunes sadly dear Jimmy Tony fell off a cliff He's one that Laura Carsie and Jessie will miss Beef and Dylan were scarse to be found Evan and Dian walked off without a sound Jennyrose smiled so beautifully the sweat lodge made some people see The huge tub of peanut butter and loaves of bread the hats on the hair and the shaved heads the stones skipping over the river and the warm wonderful atmosphere... my life changed forever here i gained so many who are so dear the lights the night the smiles no sleep so much has begun in just one week moonsong@ix.netcom.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Sep 1998 16:03:12 -0700 From: moonsong@ix.netcom.com (Charlie, Cobby & The GoA) Subject: ET: explains now..READ THIS AFTER THE CAMP POEM Ok I thought I'd just send that first so you could read it without interruption (my camp poem). Well...it was so moving partly because everyone was open, accepting, spent 8 full days together, and grew very close. It was also moving because I got involved with a guy and we broke it up and I had to sift and sort through that and we ended up bonding, but before things were smooth between us it was really hard and it involved a lot of crying and a lot of talking. Wana know more? >and tell >me about this hicky.... Oh, hehe, the hicky thing. See at the previous session of camp there was a vampire-girl-lady who gave hickies to everyone in camp, so some people carried on the tradition at this session. Simple as that. *grin* Love Sam the ? angel moonsong@ix.netcom.com ------------------------------ End of eda-thoughts-digest V1 #218 **********************************
