Thanks to all of you who gave me such nice responses on my poetry, that part of the list was great, but most of the aspects of the list are becoming too much to tolerate, so good bye all. I am sorry I had apparently fallen off the face of the eda-thoughts list. I am sure there are many of you guys who have no idea who I even am! *wavemyhand* I am Lara and I started this list oooohhh a little while back with the help of the wonderful Mike Connell (hey Mike -- I got your IM at about 2 am!). I want to apologize to all you guys who sent me info to be put up on the list page. I am so sorry! I have been so so busy! I just had to share with you guys about how excited I am that things are going so well here! Some of you may remember me telling my story about how I was really unhappy about school last fall, came home for the rest of the year, and how I decided to try again to go to another school this year. I am just so thrilled that things have gone so well! I am meeting so many people and I am so busy that, as you may have noticed, that I have not been emailing people too much. I feel very badly that I have not been able to follow the discussions as much as usual! I do scan through the digests, but it is not the same as reading every word bit for bit -- I am trying so hard to make more time to do this. I read the posts about the list's content. I wish I could say something about this -- but I honestly do not know what has been said. When I started this list I wanted people to be able to exchange poetry, stories, thoughts, etc. Just a general reminder/statement since I cannot say this based on what I have read: I really want you guys to be able to express your thoughts freely. That's what this is for -- so you guys do not have to be limited by a specific topic. But, in the same sense, make sure what you say is something which can be appreciated by everyone. This includes all the discussion of all those debatable issues, the polls you guys have been doing (these are great! you guys rock for doing those!), etc. Just remember to try to stick to things everyone can comment on and be a part in. You guys are great and I have missed being here as much! I will try to stick my nose in more! :-) Keep on posting! (I know you will!)
