For example: Tupac's >death and Notorious B.I.G's death. I think this sort of violence (well, any sort of violence, really...) is a tremendous waste of life, talent, and potential... I can't say I'm exactly a rabid fan of Tupac (never heard much of his music, honestly) or Notorious B.I.G. (again, never heard much, but what I *have* heard, I thought was fairly good), but they obviously had talent, and the potential to do a lot with their lives. To have their lives cut off at such a young age (both were in their twenties, weren't they?), that's not right... These are the sort of guys who have a lot of potential to reach a lot of people in a positive way, and they ended up dead much too young... in essence, it's a waste of life & talent for these guys to be killed like they were. Not to mention the loved ones who were left behind, who have to deal with a senseless tragedy like that. So yeah... I guess I think rap violence is a waste of effort (on the part of the people committing the violence... what's the point, really?), life, and talent. >Feel free to answer this one Kevin. Maybe those phat beats will be laid >down for you!!! ?? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
