This is regarding Ben's mighty long (but thoroughly interesting) religion post. I read it through completely, and I have a HUGE feeling that it might offend some people and get some hate mail started on our sweet little list, so EVERYONE PLEASE take into consideration that he was just voicing his opinion, and asking your thoughts. I for one don't believe in God either...but I don't necessarily believe in all that he said, either. (This is wierd, I usually hate talking religion) I think he had it more right than anyone else I've ever heard, but that doesn't necessarily make it right, either. I basically believe in the POSSIBILITY of almost everything (give or take a few flying green giraffes). God? Possibly...Aliens? Possibly (more of a probably...but still...you get the point). Just wanted to say that while I seemed to have missed Ben's post, I whole heartedly agree with Jamie. Please consider what she says above. I for one would like to see ANY passionate subject (religion, politics and abortion come to mind quickly) remain off a list, as it can and usually does invite a passionate reply, which sometimes contains something that may be misunderstood, then some heated replies may follow...and feelings hurt. I'd hate to see this happen on a list that seems so close as this one does.
