Hem: Departure and Farewell (Waveland Records) How did I *NOT* know that Hem had a release this year? I listened to a couple of songs on YouTube, and am ecstatic. Just ordered the CD. I can't wait. It came after Dan MessC) went through and then recovered from a drug addiction that essentially broke up the band for a while. I heard a good interview with him and Sally Ellyson about the album and the past several years of their lives. - --Valerie - -----Original Message----- >From: Steve Molla >Sent: Dec 31, 2013 9:41 AM >To: ecto@smoe.org, ecto-digest@smoe.org >Subject: Re: Less and than 13 in 2013/Meredith guest-hosting on WPKN Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. > >>4. NCPR did until about a couple years ago. so disappointed when NCPR dropped Echoes. i had high hope for the music content of that network. anyway, John Diliberto was the main Happy supporter on the air. in fact, it was listening to Echoes (then i was in NJ and it was on WFUV) in the mid 90s when i first heard Happy myself. it was Save our Souls and my jaw hit the floor. (also The Keep version, which was originally recorded as an Echoes Living Room Concert). so disappointed that, unless i "tune in" WFUV on the internet in the middle of the night, that i don't get Echoes anymore. i wouldn't be surprized if John occasionally plays old Happy music. maybe even he played some of Find Me, but i hadn't heard it.
