Though personally I'd have thought something like 'The Princess and the Goblins' would be better suited for re-interpretation as a musical than 'The Light Princess'. Apart from the first 'Little Earthquakes' album, I've not been too impressed with Tori Amos's other work, though I'll keep an eye open to see how this works. Chris Morriss - -- Chris Morriss ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 21 Sep 2012 07:49:57 -0400 From: Sharon Runly Nichols Subject: Amanda Palmer & Grand Theft I have absolutely no problem with what Amanda Palmer is doing. First, she posted on her fan page for fans who wanted to volunteer to play a COUPLE of songs (not be her band). And second, people don't have to volunteer their talents for free; it is their choice. She's getting a lot of shit for this "stunt" which is being called a "public scab", but yay for her for getting all the free publicity from it. I saw the show at Bard College before the tour started (after a free 45-minute reading by Neil Gaiman) and it was one of the most memorable nights of my life. - -- *Every passing hour brings the Solar System 43,000 miles closer to Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules, and still there are some misfits who insist that there is no such thing as progress.*-- Kurt Vonnegut ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2012 03:00:01 -0400 (EDT) From: Mike Matthews Subject: Today's your birthday, friend... i*i*i*i*i*i i*i*i*i*i*i *************** *****HAPPY********* **************BIRTHDAY********* *************************************************** *************************************************************************** ********************* Joe Zitt (jzitt@josephzitt.com) ********************* *************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Joe Zitt Sat September 20 1958 Will Hack for CDs Ani DiFranco Wed September 23 1970 Virgo Lord Tyr Mon September 24 1979 Libran Paul Kim Sat October 01 1977 fetal position JoAnn Whetsell Fri October 01 1976 Pendulum Ella McCrystle Tue October 03 1967 Libra William Gill Wed October 05 1960 A wide-eyed wanderer Birdie Breeze Mon October 05 1959 OooOoooWheeee Dan Riley Sun October 08 1961 Libra Neile Graham Wed October 08 1958 pen Quenby M.
