I am guessing the the mic was in or near the booth with the Brit announcers on the webcast. The music came through a ton better than any vocals, some of which were nearly inaudible. Yeah, the NBC sound is of course much better, and looks better on a bigger screen (even though it also looked fine on the computer monitor). Anyone have a gander as to why Batman and Robin were in the closing ceremonies? (and for a scant few seconds at that). They nor their creator was Brit.
