We just had Vienna Teng out here for a couple of shows. Was so nice to see Vienna again and we reminisced about old ecto days a bit. (Not sure is she is still on the list??) My fave newish band is Sgt Splendor. They have some local connections, so I get to see them pretty often. Itbs a real treat if they are a full band or a stripped down duo. Kate Vargas, who does most of the vocals, has some really fine, quickly solo albums out too. We have Jane Siberry coming out March 28 & 29! Itbs a good time to plan a New Mexico vacation and you can see Jane in some really tiny rooms! Info at ampconcerts.org if you are curious :) Cheers, - - neal > On Feb 4, 2026, at 4:46b/PM, Jason wrote: > > Great to hear that Neile (and congrats on the retirement) > > I actually listened to waaaay more music last year than for probably a > decade.
