It appears this may turn into the textbook case of how social media is a two edged sword. I understand JoAnn's distress about editing her time line after fact, but it seems to me that subject is the very crux of the matter. Putting anything on the net at this point in time appears to be foolhardy in view of the fact that someone (not necessarily Big Bro) is keeping records of everything you do, with or without your "permission." I stopped even using Google a while back because of what I detect is their arrogance about information they regard as their property. It seems Facebook didn't wrestle too long with their conscience on this one, either. It's not much of a blow for freedom, but I won't have anything to do with any of them. My $0.02.
