Today's Subjects: ----------------- Donna Lewis - "Running Up That Hill" Cover [Paul Jensen Subject: Donna Lewis - "Running Up That Hill" Cover Donna Lewis, best known for 1996's smash hit "I Love You Always Forever", just released a cover of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill". It's a lovely take, filled with strings and a somber, reflective mood. Donna's voice is still amazing - with that airy, whispery rasp. In case you missed it, she released another single recently called "Bad Bad Love". I'm not sure if this is leading to a new album, or just the output of a recent collaboration. You might be surprised how well 1996's "Now In A Minute" holds up. I still play it frequently. I also love 2008's "In the Pink". Both worth exploring for a first time, or worth revisiting.
