Her genre could be nest described as retro rock, in the style of the early 60's--the stuff that, back in the day, was much of the stock in trade of _American Bandstand_. She does both original material and covers, and does them both very well indeed. I recommend her. She has pages on both Facebook and MySpace, which include access to sound files of her songs. And, of course, I hold a good thought for Chuck on the occasion of his surgery. Maybe? Kate did at least some of the funding for the new album through PledgeMusic and she released it digitally to pledgers two weeks ago. It's fabulous though definitely in line with what she was doing on Melankton. But I wasn't aware it was actually available for sale yet, either physically or digitally. Definitely worth a wait! jeff On Oct 24, 2011, at 11:32 AM, Jon Wesley Huff wrote: > Got an e-mail that Kate Havnevik's album is available finally!
