Chuck needs our good wishes and thoughts right now - he's having surgery for an extremely rare form of cancer tomorrow. His prognosis is good and he has a great attitude, but he could always use more support from out there in the Universe!! He's blogging his experience here: http://modernspecimen.blogspot.com/ (warning: some posts contain squick) I figured he wouldn't mind me posting this here since he's got a public blog and we're one big ecto family ... Well I am new here and don4t know so much about what have been discussed earlier about this and other topics. Found this list through, the one and only, Happy Rhodes whom I listened to exclusively for more than 8 months. Could not get enough of her music, voice, performances and charisma. Did not, as so many others, understand why she wasn4t recognised as a great, worldwide known, artist. Being in no way an expert what ecto really stands for, I suggested to the mailing list that Lars Winnerbdck have qualities that should make him at home here. Lars Winnerbdck, who is from the same city in Sweden as I am (Linkoping), is becoming more and more popular. He writes very poetic texts but not so many in english, regrettably. After watching the video I decided that I was wrong about that; part of the reason I answered the way I did was to give people a little more reason to look into it. That being said, the focus of interest here tends to be on ethereal woman vocalists, but not exclusively, and we've been happy to discuss anything ectophiles like to listen to.
