If Ibd been able to get a ticket I wouldbve gotten myself across the pond. I have massive regrets about missing the run, but those are at least a little salved by the live set. Kate herself sounds utterly incredible, and the band is great. The live versions are great fun, and the dialog thatbs been added to The 9th Wave is delightful, including a chunk written by David Mitchell (of Cloud Atlas fame). To my mind, listening to the live 9th Wave and Aerial is not like listening to either album b in a good way. Ibll be curious to hear other responses... jeff On Aug 13, 2017, 4:23 PM -0400, Jason Gordon , wrote: > Anyone have any opinions on the 3 disc live set from Kate's London shows? > How essential of a live album is it (especially if you weren't there to > experience it live?) > > Also was just listening to aldous hardings first album and it's equally > brilliant to her 4ad recent release.
