Although I think they peaked with Swamp Ophelia/Shaming of the Sun and their output since then has been disappointingly....well, pleasant, their last one showed a lot of the old spirit and the upcoming release, Beauty Queen Sister, will be produced by Peter Collins, who worked on Swamp Ophelia with them. I may be setting myself up for a major disappointment, but I think this is a promising sign! Oh, and Tom Waits has a new album coming out soon. Again: guarded joy, as I do feel he's fallen into a bit of a rut in recent years. Now all I need is Jonatha Brooke to get back into the studio....
