Lots of cliches. Very much hope someone else enjoys it! She moves wonderfully when performing, and her voice is lovely, but the non-Bride tracks she played at the end of the concert were so much lovelier and original. I loved the first two albums, and particularly "Two suns"; interesting music with amazing storytelling. But then her last one was a bit hit and miss; some good, some ... um, plain? And then this one, which is even plainer. not sure why the cheese is piled so high on this one, even the few songs on this latest which I like are still, well, cheesy and uninspiring. Maybe it's the produced and more plainer sounding sound palettes, the flirting with Americana or the texts dripping with cheese? I'll possibly buy it, but I really did hope that she would return to the Bat for Lashes that made her so unique. Then again, I'll be with her on this journey, too, even when I don't like where we're going ...
