I like Pandora better for finding similar music I like, but think Spotify hasmore music and you can pay whatv you want on demand. I mostly just listen to all my ownvmusic since Iv got my complete collection now uploaded into the Amazon cloud. Plus with Amazon prime there's a lot of music I can add to my collection for free, though probably notvl as much as Apple music, but it's cheaper. I've been messing about on Pandora trying to create various Ecto-flavored stations, and I may have come up with at least a couple decent ones: an Ecto Holiday station and a Bel Canto-based station. The Ecto holiday one is a bit heavy on the Loreena McKennitt side of things at the moment, but this is the station description: "Holiday station focused on artists from the Ectophiles Guide to Good Music: Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Tracey Thorn, Aimee Mann, Over the Rhine, and more." I was wondering if any other Pandora subscribers had stations they might like to swap? Also, I'm curious about whether other music streaming services might be more or less Ecto friendly than Pandora in terms of content. Does anyone have any opinions? I haven't tried Spotify or any of the other options yet. Happy Holidays! Michele in the SF Bay Area ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V16 #1574 ****************************
