They only gave it three stars, but it sounded as if it was more 'classic' Tori, something that I'd enjoy. Like you, Adam, I've not really wanted to buy a Tori album in a while. The review you posted makes me even more enthusiastic about getting it. Here's a link to the Guardian review for those who missed it. http://www.theguardian.com/music/2014/may/08/tori-amos-unrepentant-geraldines-review (I am floored by the fact that her daughter is now 13, though.) How about the new Natalie Merchant and Sarah McLachlan releases? I've seen the video for Merchant's "Giving up Everything", which is amazing. I've read this Telegraph five star review. What do Ecto folk think? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/cdreviews/10804182/Natalie-Merchant-Natalie-Merchant-review-quietly-magnificent.html I read a review of McLachlan's new release that made it sound like it was more of the same. Again, any Ecto folk have opinions? Ellen "Literature stops in 1100.
