The album is less sf, and more generally floaty and draamy ecto. http://www.ninakinert.com/ Anna ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Jan 2011 19:18:51 +0100 From: "Yngve Hauge" Subject: Re: looking forward to in 2011 PC% Wed, 19 Jan 2011 18:44:56 +0100, skrev anna maria stjC$rnell : > Hugh Laurie(yes, really..I think it might be good) Hugh Laurie's songs in A Bit of Hugh and Laurie are just hilarious, and his period songs in Jeeves and Wooster are amazing as well. What I heard on radio yesterday morning was amazing at least, so an album I'm gonna buy. - -- Yngve - -- Sendt med Operas revolusjonerende e-postprogram: http://www.opera.com/mail/ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Jan 2011 15:00:06 -0800 From: Neile Graham Subject: Strawberry: speaking of free downloads Speaking of free downloads, last night I happened to listen to an old album we had quite liked back in the day, _Brokeheart Audio_ by Canadian group Strawberry. I started to put together an EctoGuide entry for them when I ran across their bandcamp site. There, for free download, they offer not only _Brokeheart Audio_ but a previously unreleased album, _Viva Me_. They're sort of trancey pop. The first track on _Brokeheart_ is Perfume Tree like, but the rest more Pram like. I'm just listening to _Viva Me_ for the first time, but am struck by how Broadcast-like it is. Fragile, ethereal vocals. Quirky pop. Check it out. The price is especially right. - --Neile ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Jan 2011 15:47:09 -0800 From: Neile Graham Subject: Oops Re: Strawberry: speaking of free downloads I'm sure the link would be helpful: http://strawberry.bandcamp.com On Jan 19, 2011, at 3:00 PM, Neile Graham wrote: > > Speaking of free downloads, last night I happened to listen to an old album we had quite liked back in the day, _Brokeheart Audio_ by Canadian group Strawberry.
