At many of these performances I have invited some wonderful people who are leaders in the mental health community to talk about the work they do and so I'm really looking forward to hearing what they have to say. While on the road I'm starting to put together plans for the Irish launch of the album in the first week in March in Ireland. I'll have copies with me when I tour with Lorin Sklamberg in Germany, Denmark and Austria in March. Hope to see you along the way. It's currently up in its entirety at Filter magazine: http://filtermagazine.com/index.php/media/entry/julia_stone_the_memory_machine The voice is a little on the hoarse side of soft, somewhere between Karin Bergquist on the near side and Joanna Newsom on the far. The blurb describes the music as "sweet," which I think is right.
