Then wondered why I'd never read the name on ecto. Looks like Neile's said a few things on the Ectophile's Guide, though, under "ectronica." http://ectoguide.org/genre/ectronica/glasser ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Nov 2010 20:48:27 -0800 From: Neile Graham Subject: Re: Glasser I've mentioned Glasser a couple of times, but don't think I've said anything about the new album yet: I love it (90%). Here's what I just uploaded to the Guide: > While the strongest tracks on here are the ones she pre-released as on her downloadable ep, this is still a strong debut. The creative backing showcases her lovely voice and the songwriting is impressively full of hooks, especially in contrast to most working in electronica. There's no messy looseness here, but playfulness and gorgeous songs and thoughtful sounds. Highly recommended for fans of electronica and of course lovely female vocals, and, mostly especially, driving, lively energy. She's definitely one of my favourite recent discoveries. - --Neile On Nov 9, 2010, at 7:23 PM, Paul Blair wrote: > Saw a note that Glasser would be appearing here in NYC next week; was > curious and followed the link to MySpace.
