Again it is the best story in the issue. This must be a statistical anomaly, as they have a rather high standards and most other issues have had stories as good or better. The blurb mentions his future involvement with the Clarion Writer's workshop. Neile, didn't you have a connection of one sort or another with this Group? bye, KrW I'm Peter Pan! Neile, didn't you have a connection of one sort or another > with this Group? Neile runs the Clarion West workshop, which is up in Seattle. i am attending Clarion Original-flavor, down in San Diego (which is also, of course, west -- it's a long story). i was also accepted to the Seattle workshop, and made the very difficult choice to go to San Diego, largely due to work constraints, but i enormously regret missing the chance to hang out with Neile for six weeks. Seattle is a hotbed of great writing, though, SF and otherwise, so i hope to get up there eventually... i am driving down to San Diego this Saturday, with a car *packed* with stuff, including a spare laptop and speakers to serve as the sound system for the common room (there's a common room, just like Harry Potter!). said laptop is filled with Ecto-licious music to share with my fellow students... The Clarion Greg will be attending is in San Diego. They are very similar experiences. I know Greg is going to have an amazing time. Two Clarion West graduates are also in that issue: Julia Sidarova and Pamela Rentz. I haven't found a copy of the issue yet, so I can't say which story is best :) - --Neile On Wed, 23 Jun 2010, kerry white wrote: > Hi, Our Greg Bossert has a story in this month's Asimov's Science > Fiction Magazine.
