I hope the rest of the new album is as good. You can also hear two of Sarah McLachlan's new songs "Illusions of Bliss": http://soundcloud.com/nettwerkmusicgroup/sarah-mclachlan-illusions-of-bliss and a live acoustic version of "Forgiveness": http://soundcloud.com/nettwerkmusicgroup/sarah-mclachlan-forgiveness-live-aco ustic These are pretty blah, unfortunately but unsurprisingly. I'll skip this album, though I may give it a lesson if the library gets it. (of course, the answer is always and constantly "both", but you know what i mean...) one enormous benefit of ripping everything -- though one to which i have been adamantly opposed in the past -- is the making of playlists. i know that many artists work very hard to sequence their albums, and some use themes and motifs and, heaven help me as a child of the '60s, "concepts" to unify an album. but in my currently scattered and frayed life, just getting back to some great songs, even if heard in passing as i trudge passed the speakers with laptops and laundry, feels like a great luxury.
