Yes, we have it, and it's marvellous, as usual. We have the Owen Pallett, but I'm not yet feeling the love like I did for his previous work. For those who like noise, I'm really enjoying the samples I've heard from Sleigh Bells (stereogum and pitchfork both have downloadable samples). Noisy but nice, too. Oh, and I have the new Emily Jane White, Victorian America. It's more eclectic than her first one, but I think I'll like it. - --Neile On May 13, 2010, at 9:28 AM, Jason Gordon wrote: > for me the tops so far include: > Marina & The Diamonds - The Family Jewels > Tunng - ...And Then We Saw Land > Under Byen - Alt er tabt > Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can > My Brightest Diamond - Shark Remixes > Owen Pallett - Heartland > > and likely to join the list after a few more listens... > AnaC/s Mitchell - Hadestown > Cocorosie - Grey Oceans > Husky Rescue - Ship of Light > Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings - I Learned the Hard Way > JC3nsi - Go > Clogs - The Creatures in the Garden of Lady Walton > > -jason > > np Coeur de Pirate - s/t ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V15 #118 ***************************
