It sounds hastily put together and (dare I say) even quite lyrically stupid in parts, as if she's just making it up as she's going along. On the other hand, to my surprise, I picked up Amanda Palmer's "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" from an Oxfam shop a couple of weeks ago, despite never quite getting my head round the Dresden Dolls and finally started to listen to it the other day and really, really enjoyed it. Maybe it just caught me in the mood, maybe there's hope for me. Oh, and any Dr Who fans out there -- I'm so happy I liked the new Dr. I was getting somewhat disenchanted with the last couple of seasons, but I think the new boy handled himself really well. Off to Italy tomorrow for an Easter break, so happy eggs to everyone. Apparently it's out already? And yeah, Who Killed Amanda Palmer is a pretty good album. It's a shame that pretty much everything she does these days makes me dislike her a bit more, though.
