I have the name of the song: It's "The Witnesses" by The Paradise Motel, and may be heard here: http://www.the-paradise-motel.com/the_witnesses.html Thanks to the Triple R of Melbourne for answering my query. I didn't expect the radio station would answer, or if they did, that the person who responded would have any way of tracking down the song. According to Wikipedia, they broke up in 2000 and reformed in 2008. They recorded an album at that time, but it was apparently never released. The article mentions that drummer Damien Hill died in December 2008, which probably is the reason why. While I was in Australia, twice I heard on the local ecto-friendly radio station a song that seemed familiar. The only part of it I can remember now was the verse "the dish ran away with the spoon." The vocalist was in the general area of Kristin Hersh or Hope Sandoval. Anyone know? I'm probably going to kick myself when I find out what it is. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2010 21:09:36 -0400 From: Paul Blair Subject: Re: What's that song?
