It's especially bad on the Patty Griffin list where people OFTEN quote an entire LONG email with a one-liner response of their own. So aggravating. As for an entire digest being quoted, on all of my lists I have a filter installed to stop such a post from hitting the list, even if the entire quoted digest has only two posts. I then approve the post with most of the quoting edited out. I even have a header IN each digest asking to NOT quote an entire digest and they still do it. Ugh! The years go by drawing creases round our eyes and bowing all our beams but this love of mine lies beyond the hands of time this love is evergreen amidst winter's death we'll have gardens on our breath when we come in with ice-chewn ears from wind-hewn orchards. There's a cold wind blows through some castles I have known and people I have seen who own half the land who have got to place to stand and oh, no place to lean I'll take just this earth and the quiet of the world when we come in with ice-chewn ears from wind-hewn orchards. There's a summer breeze as the bees hang in the weeds and birds are triumphing as we gather here in the sunglight and the clear and raise our hearts to sing I'll take just your hand and a poverty so grand when we come in with ice-chewn ears from wind-hewn orchards. As always, sounds, sights, records and more available at www.noevenable.com, http://www.myspace.com/noevenable, amazon.com, etc. And if you'd like to be removed from this list, please just respond to this note and let me know. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Jul 2009 17:34:39 -0700 From: Sue Trowbridge Subject: Re: Narnia On Mon, Jul 6, 2009 at 1:44 PM, neal copperman wrote: > I was always a big fan of the Viewmaster.
