Mind you, it could just be the communication side: as with my MySpace page (yep, I have one out there, somewhere) there's no point engaging in a social activity if you're not remotely social. Current mood: cheerful *Category:* Music (temporary as in I'll delete this in a couple of weeks) Hi all, Vickie here. Bon Lozaga built himself a MySpace page and then asked me if I would make one for Project Lo, and so I did (it's a work in progress). So for those who have been wanting to put "Mercy Street" on your pages, now you can! Whooo! People have asked for it before, but since it appeared on a Project Lo album I didn't feel it was my place to put it on one of Happy's pages. For those who don't know, Happy appeared on Project Lo's 1997 album Black Canvas, and sang a gorgeous, haunting cover of Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street" as arranged by Bon (who, really, IS Project Lo). She also sang the Project Lo song "Perfection" on that album. That song is also on the MySpace page. She also toured with Project Lo as a guest singer and keyboardist. Project Lo's MySpace page Bon Lozaga's MySpace page There is scant Project Lo non-music material out there, and surprisingly Bon doesn't have anything, so if anyone reading this has any photos, flyers, posters, ANYthing, please please please let me know if I can get copies (jpgs, gifs, pngs). I will put them up on the MySpace page. Would a kind soul do me a favor and pass this along to ecto please, and anyone else who might be interested? Btw, nothing's going on (musically) with Happy at the moment (that she'll share anyway). All is quiet on the Muller farm. Believe me, if there were news I would shout it from the rooftops. She, like just about everybody else, liked Susan Boyle, which was nice to hear. Miriam Stockley did a cover which I quite liked but this.... amazing. It's such an lovely song and Happy just nails it. You know, it truly breaks my heart to hear that Happy isn't doing any music projects right now. It really does. I mean, I'm sure she has her reasons. Life happens to everyone. I don't know if it's lack of funds, lack of inspiration or just being busy with other projects... I just feel like the world is a bit grayer without new Happy Rhodes music being out there. So many different musicians flitter in and out in front of me but there's just something about Happy that's always so listenable and involving and keeps me coming back. She's already contributed so much to the world of music, I know it's selfish to want more. But while there are a lot of great new musicians and singers and songwriters emerging every day... there's really only one Happy.
