(I can think of one song where she uses the F word) But then again, I don't actually have tender ears. I think she's great. She certainly doesn't swear in every single song, so listen to a few and see if it suites you. Only you can decide if you can put up with what you feel are "obscene lyrics". I only own "Perfect Dream" but I love it and have heard pieces of the others. A Perfect Dream was reviewed on my site in 2005 by myself and one other reviewer, we both loved her http://www.blog.collectedsounds.com/?p=2071 Also Anna Maria has reviewed her other records on the site too. I highly recommend picking up _Nexus_, which I think was her strongest album by far (and, in fact, I hardly ever listen to _Cocooned_ or _A Perfect Dream_ since I got it!). I occasionally check her web site to see if there are any updates, and there hadn't been...though I now see it's about to be "relaunched" so maybe something new is, in fact, on the way. yay. jeff n.p. _Marry Me_, St. Vincent ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Aug 2008 00:25:02 -0400 From: ontario moe Subject: Katell Keineg in Norway - ----- Forwarded message from "info@katellkeineg.com" ----- Katell Keineg will be performing in Norway this September: Sept 14th - Logen Bar, Bergen, Norway, 8pm, with Ann Scott Sept 17th - CafC) Opera, Bergen, Norway, 8 pm, with Ann Scott For more info, visit myspace.com/katellkeineg or www.katellkeineg.com www.katellkeineg.com 66 west 10th street new york, ny 10011 - ----- End forwarded message ----- ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V13 #586 ***************************
