I found two audio clips on my hard drive that I downloaded from artists at unspecified times in the past, and now I don't know who did them -- and I haven't had much luck doing an Internet search. But ecto knows everything... The first is a .wav file called "silenced life." There's something in the guitar that reminds me of Happy Rhodes on acoustic guitar, but the voice isn't much like Happy's at all. Breathy, almost whispering, mid-range. "...some choose shortcuts/some don't take off at all/and most just choose what they're used to..." The other one is a dark version of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." It starts with a solo woman's voice and a lot of electronic atmosphere; the second verse is more piano with male voices backing her. In the third verse it's more a duet between a male and a female voice. It begins and ends with a churning, whooshing sound, sort of like one of those stealth helicopters you see in the movies. O Come O Come Emmanuel could be Jonatha Brooke. She has an intense version.
