It does have some stand-out songs (Blue Caravan and City Hall), but much of the rest is rather mundane. A cappella? Did she sing "Passage", by chance? I attended 3 of her shows last year (2 in Ohio, one in Germany), and was hoping she would do Passage. No luck. I wondered if she had removed it from her playlists, or was just more focused on promoting "Dreaming". Tuesday night shows at Canal Street are usually free, and since no cover charge is indicated, this one is probably free as well. Also, you can probably sample most of the performers listed below on their respective MySpace pages. From the web site of Jayne Sachs (www.JayneSachs.com) Tuesday, July 22nd!! A special night of female singer/songwriters at Canal Street Tavern in Dayton, Ohio! 9pm - Emily Strand 9:30pm - Miranda Pennington 10pm - Frozen Feet 10:30pm - Julie Roth 11pm - Jayne Sachs 11:30pm - Sharon Lane 12am - Pamela Gayle after that - open mic if anyone wants (women performers) Canal Street Tavern in downtown Dayton, Ohio for a special "Women Writers in the Raw " This night is dedicated to the late singer/songwriter Katie Reider. Katie died just July 14th. Had she been well I'm sure she would have been on this bill, but she's battled a rare disease for the last two years. We all loved Katie. >was quite saddened to hear about Katie's situation back in May 2008.
